ShapShop is an AI-powered meal planning and grocery price comparison service for South African families. It is operated by ShapShop (a sole proprietorship based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa), trading until further notice as ShapShop.

• Do not rely on AI-generated meal plans to manage any medical condition, allergy, or dietary disorder
• Always verify ingredient safety if you or a family member has a known allergy or intolerance
• Nutritional information shown is estimated and may not be accurate
• ShapShop is not a registered dietitian, nutritionist, or healthcare provider

Grocery prices displayed on ShapShop are scraped from retailer websites and are provided for comparison purposes only. Please note:

• Prices may not reflect real-time availability or current in-store/in-app pricing
• Prices may vary by location, store, or time of day
• Promotions, member pricing, and loyalty discounts may not be captured
• ShapShop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a reseller of any retailer listed
• Always confirm pricing on the retailer's own app or website before purchasing

• You must be 18 years or older to create a ShapShop account
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account
• One account per person — do not share accounts
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

• Free accounts include 1 meal plan at no charge
• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in South African Rand (ZAR)
• Payments are processed securely by PayFast — ShapShop never stores your card details
• Founding member pricing (R39/month) is locked for life for qualifying early members
• You may cancel your subscription at any time — no cancellation fee applies
• Refunds are handled at our discretion; contact hello@shapshop.online within 7 days of billing

You agree not to:

• Use ShapShop for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or copy the service
• Share your account credentials or resell access to ShapShop
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers

All content, design, branding, and software on ShapShop is owned by ShapShop and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of ShapShop without written permission.

Your personal data (family profile, meal preferences) remains yours. We use it only to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, ShapShop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on AI-generated meal plans for health or medical purposes
• Price discrepancies between ShapShop data and actual retailer pricing
• Loss of data due to technical failure
• Any harm arising from ingredients purchased based on app recommendations

Our total liability to you will not exceed the subscription amount paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update, modify or discontinue features of ShapShop at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa. These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
